LabLink xL allows you to use peer data as a troubleshooting tool. The instant you submit your data over the web, the peer database is updated with your data and reported back to you in seconds! No need to wait for a month. The evolution is that you can now see what is occurring to the database as your peers submit their data. Imagine a personal Web site where you can review peer data 24/7 and literally study data trends as they occur. Store your QC data and maintain your lab instruments with ease and confidence.

LabLink xL is available in three formats:

• LabLink xL PC: A Data Manager-Based QAP Solution
• LabLink xL Notes: A Traditional Paper-based QAP Solution

LabLink xL Web: An Internet-based QAP Solution

• LabLink xL* Web offers instant peer reporting over the Internet. You will be set up with your own personnel web site where you will submit your data, review your peers, and print all standard LabLink xL* reports all in a single, brief web session.
• Test and Instrument Setup. Simple pull-down menus with point-and-click operation make the process easy and quick for instrument setup.
• Data Input Options. Manual or electronic, depending on your requirements:
  • Manual Input: Key in Mean, SD, and number of points anytime - no more closing dates! Data is loaded and available for immediate report printing.
  • Electronic Input (LabLink xL Communicator): Upload converted LIS or instrument data file. Uploaded data is self-configuring—no setup required. LabLink xL technical service will manage your electronic uploading for the life of your controls.
• Individual Data. View your lab's Monthly and Lot-to-Date (LTD) data in comparison with peer data at any time. Tabular format provides an easy reading.
• Group Data. View group data at any time for any control. Data is compared with peer data and updated constantly as more users submit data. Again, intuitive navigation within pulldown menus allow you quick and easy access to all peer data.

LabLink xL PC: A Data Manager-Based QAP Solution

• Want to manage your lab's QC data? If you are dissatisfied with substandard QC packages, check out Fisher HealthCare's LabLink xL PC. LabLink xL PC offers data management with Westgard rules, optional CLIA rules or your own user-defined rules.
• Another evolutionary feature with LabLink xL PC is the importation of peer data from the LabLink xL network into your own PC. Traditionally this data was only available a month later in printed report. Now, with LabLink xL, you can send your own data and at the same time not only get the complete peer data loaded to your PC, but you will actually be able to manipulate it on your PC! For example, say you want to look at only the first 15 days of the month, or you want to look at a subset of the peer data instead of the entire group. LabLink xL PC will do this and more.
• LabLink xL PC also offers two data entry options:
  • Manual Input: Key in Mean, SD, and number of points or the individual data points anytime - no more closing dates! Data is loaded and available for immediate report printing.
  • Electronic via the LabLink xL Communicator: LLL-PC will import QC data and auto-configure tests not set-up in the software.
• Test and Instrument Setup. Pulldown menus and point-and-click operation make the process easy and quick for instrument setup.
• Data Synchronization. Unique to LabLink xL PC, your lab data is loaded in the same process as peer data is retrieved. The peer data is now on your PC and available for you to use as if it were your own data.
• Reports. Simply view the Summary tab for results and select your desired report.
• Action Log. You can maintain your lab's status, including control rule warnings and violations, instrument maintenance, reagent lot changes, and supervisory review.

LabLink xL Notes: A Traditional Paper-based QAP Solution

• LabLink xL Notes offers traditional means of submitting data via Levey-Jennings charts and Summary data forms for those who elect not to participate in the LabLink xL* Web or LabLink xL* PC systems. Two of the key reports offered to all LabLink xL* customers include:
  • Exception Notes Report. Your lab data is compared with your test system peer data and analyzed for precision and accuracy trends. Warnings, violations, and exclusions for rejected data are also flagged. In an error-free month, "no flagged data" is shown. These results allow you to focus on problem areas and save you time in the reviewing process.
  • SDI Summary Report. Your lab data is compared with your test system peer data. A condensed, tabular format is provided for your convenience and ease of reading.
