14-3-3 beta Polyclonal Antibody, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific PA137002
Description
This antibody is predicted to react with rat and mouse based on sequence homology. Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is brain tissue.
At least 7 mammalian isoforms comprise the 14-3-3 family of signaling intermediates. 14-3-3 molecules are highly conserved, expressed in a broad range of tissues and cell types and were first discovered as a series of highly abundant proteins in brain tissue. There is increasing evidence that 14-3-3 proteins are critical to cell transformation and mitotic signaling.
