Applications
3-Nitro-L-tyrosine is used as an indicator of the formation of peroxynitrite by NO-dependent oxidative damage.

Soluble in water (partly miscible), 1N hydrochloric acid (50 mg/ml), acidic aqueous solution , ethanol, DMSO, DMF and PBS (pH 7.2) (∼2 mg/ml).
