Supplier: Cytiva 97052
Description
Utilizing proprietary high-performance multi-layer filter membranes, plates offer time savings strong performance claims and streamlined workflow improvements. Available in 4 different types of membranes. Each plate comes with a V-shaped bottom collection plate and lid. Automation friendly. Vacuum compatible. Suitable for centrifuge.
Plates with Asymmetric Supor™ EKV Membrane:
A 0.65/0.2 μm asymmetric Supor EKV PES membrane, available with and without a dual-layer depth prefilter. The depth prefilter allows clarification of large cellular debris prior to filtration through the 0.65/0.2 μm EKV Supor membrane. Dual-layer clarification plate has reliable recovery of > 95% of extra cellular proteins. Single-layer AcroPrep 24-well filter plate contains 0.65/0.2 μm Supor EKV membrane, and is designed for applications where a sterile filtrate is required.
Plates with Supor Membrane:
The AcroPrep Supor plates have a variety of uses, in applications such as resin packing for sample preparation, viral filtration, or genome mapping, depending on the pore size chosen. Available with 0.1, 0.45, 0.8, 1.2 and 5 μm pore size ratings, these versatile filter plates can be confidently incorporated into a number of laboratory 24-well format workflows. The Supor polyethersulfone membrane enables fast filtration, has low protein binding properties and offers extensive drug and chemical compatibility. Each plate comes with a V-shaped bottom collection plate and lid Individually bagged and gamma irradiated. Automation friendly vacuum compatible suitable for centrifuge.
Plates with Omega Membrane:
The AcroPrep Omega plate for desalting, diafiltration, concentration or fractionation of protein and nucleic acid samples saves time in a single device and workflow step. The Omega ultrafiltration membrane is a polyethersulfone membrane specifically modified to minimize protein and nucleic acid binding. The Omega membrane works on the premise of size exclusion, where samples are fractionated by molecular weight. Larger molecules can be separated from smaller molecules by selecting the appropriate molecular weight cut-off (MWCO) and filtering the sample through these plates by either centrifugation, vacuum, or positive pressure, typically resulting in ≥ 90% recovery of target molecules.
Plates with PE/PP Membrane:
The PE/PP plate offers a large pore size (30 to 40 μm) which is ideal for plant applications or as a cell strainer.
