CyDye fluors are bright fluorescent dyes with good aqueous solubility, pH insensitivity, low non-specific binding, and photostability. They are an excellent choice for use in steady state fluorescence, FP and FRET applications. Mono-reactive maleimides enable labeling via thiol groups, when labelling via amine groups is not possible or desirable.
  • Ideal for selective labeling of free sulfhydryl groups, such as cysteine residues in peptides, proteins, and oligonucleotides
  • Particularly suited for antibody labeling, since the dye is introduced away from the antibody binding site, decreasing the chance that the functionality of the labeled molecule will be impaired
  • Bulk packs provide the greatest economy
  • Example protocols are included with each dye pack
