    Never mix bicarbonate-based and phosphate-based dry chemicals. A chemical reaction that is harmful to the extinguisher will occur. Foray™ is free flowing, water repellent, nonabrasive; and produces no toxic effects. Other additives to Met-L-X™ render it free-flowing and cause heat caking or crusting.

    •    For Class A, B or C fires
    •    Composed of a monoammonium phosphate base
    •    Useful on combination fires and on Class A fires at temperatures that freeze water; applications include heavy equipment used in the logging industry
    •    May produce mild corrosion after fire, making prompt cleanup necessary; if agent cannot be readily swept up, warm water may be used as a solvent

    •    For Class D (sodium, potassium, sodium-potassium alloy or magnesium) fires
    •    Composed of a salt base plus a polymer for sealing
    •    Controls and sometimes extinguishes small fires on zirconium and titanium
    •    UL listed
