14-3-3 zeta Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA527317
PA5-27317 targets 14-3-3 zeta in IF, IP, IHC (P), and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and mouse samples. The PA5-27317 immunogen is recombit protein fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 229 of Human 14-3-3 zeta. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles. This gene product belongs to the 14-3-3 family of proteins which mediate signal transduction by binding to phosphoserine-containing proteins. This highly conserved protein family is found in both plants and mammals, and this protein is 99% identical to the mouse, rat and sheep orthologs. The encoded protein interacts with IRS1 protein, suggesting a role in regulating insulin sensitivity. Several transcript variants that differ in the 5 ft. UTR but that encode the same protein have been identified for this gene.
