53BP1 Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Biotin, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA522790
This antibody reacts with Human samples in Western blot and ICC applications, and with Mouse in ICC applications.53BP1 (P53-binding protein 1) plays a critical role in tumor suppression and is a putative substrate of ATM kinase. Upon DNA damage, 53BP1 is phosphorylated and localizes to the presumptive sites of damage, specifically, double-strand breaks. 53BP1 may have a role in checkpoint signaling during mitosis, enhances TP53-mediated transcriptional activation, and participates in DNA repair by maintaining genomic stability.
|A synthetic peptide, which represented a portion of human tumor protein p53-binding protein 1 encoded in exon 11, 12 and 19 (LocusLink ID 7158). This antibody is a cocktail hybrid of NB 100-304 and NB 100-305.|
