ABR Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA527079
PA5-27079 targets ABR in IF and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human and mouse samples. The PA5-27079 immunogen is synthetic peptide corresponding to a region within amino acids 797 and 859 of Human ABR. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles. This gene encodes a protein that is similar to the protein encoded by the breakpoint cluster region gene located on chromosome 22. The protein encoded by this gene contains a GTPase-activating protein domain, a domain found in members of the Rho family of GTP-binding proteins. Functional studies in mice determined that this protein plays a role in vestibular morphogenesis, suggesting that Rho-related GTPases help coordinate motor skills and balance. Alternatively spliced transcript variants that encode different isoforms have been reported for this gene.
