alpha-1 Antitrypsin Chicken anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen™
Chicken Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA19529
PA1-9529 detects Alpha1 trypsin in human samples. PA1-9529 has been successfully used in Western blot and ELISA procedures. By Western blot, PA1-9529 detects a 46 kDa protein representing Alpha1 trypsin. PA1-9529 immunogen is a synthetic peptide based on the human alpha-1 antitrypsin protein. The protein encoded by this gene is secreted and is a serine protease inhibitor whose targets include elastase, plasmin, thrombin, trypsin, chymotrypsin, and plasminogen activator. Defects in this gene can cause emphysema or liver disease. Several transcript variants encoding the same protein have been found for this gene.
