Artemis Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA527112
PA5-27112 targets Artemis in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-27112 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 306 and 692 of Human Artemis. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles. This gene encodes a nuclear protein that is involved in V(D)J recombination and DNA repair. The protein has single-strand-specific 5 ft.-3 ft. exonuclease activity; it also exhibits endonuclease activity on 5 ft. and 3 ft. overhangs and hairpins when complexed with protein kinase, DNA-activated, catalytic polypeptide. Mutations in this gene cause Athabascan-type severe combined immunodeficiency (SCIDA).
