ASGR2 Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA124416
PA1-24416 detects all three isoforms of asialoglycoprotein receptor 2 in human samples. PA1-24416 has been successfully used in Western blot and immunohistochemistry (FFPE) procedures. The PA1-24416 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a region of human ASGR2. For use in Western Blot, it is suggested that PA1-24416 is diluted in 5% skim milk/PBS buffer.ASGR2 is a cell surface receptor that binds to galactose-terminated glycoproteins. It transports these glycoproteins via a series of membrane vesicles and tubules to an acidic-sorting organelle where the receptor and ligand dissociates. Then the receptor is recycled back to the cell surface. There are four alternatively spliced transcript variants of this gene. This gene has multiple polyadenylation sites.
