gamma Catenin Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Rat, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA120930
PA1-20930 detects Gamma Catenin in Human, Mouse and Rat samples. PA1-20930 has been successfully used in Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), Immunoprecipitation and Western Blot procedures. Staining fo paraffin sections requires tissue boiling in 10 mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0 for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 minutes. A positive control of breast carcinoma is suggested. PA1-20930 immunogen corresponds to Synthetic peptide (Human) (C terminal).Gamma Catenin is a common junctional plaque protein. The membrane-associated plaques are architectural elements in an important strategic position to influence the arrangement and function of both the cytoskeleton and the cells within the tissue. The presence of gamma Catenin in both the desmosomes and in the intermediate junctions suggests that it plays a central role in the structure and function of submembranous plaques.
