Description

Description

PA5-28313 targets CD3 delta in WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-28313 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 171 of Human CD3 delta. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

CD3d is part of the T-cell receptor/CD3 complex (TCR/CD3 complex) and is involved in T-cell development and signal transduction. The CD3d protein represents the delta subunit of the CD3 complex, and along with four other CD3 subunits, binds either TCR alpha/beta or TCR gamma/delta to form the TCR/CD3 complex on the surface of T-cells. Defects in the CD3d gene are a cause of severe combined immunodeficiency autosomal recessive T-cell-negative/B-cell-positive/NK-cell-positive (SCIDBNK). Two transcript variants encoding different isoforms of CD3d have been found. Other variants of CD3d may also exist, but the full-length nature of their transcripts have yet to be defined.
