CD4/CD45RA, FITC, PE, Clone: 7E14, BHKG-2, Antibody Cocktail, Invitrogen™
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA112217
The CD4 antigen is involved in the recognition of the type II MHC antigen. It is also a receptor for HIV. It is present on most T helper cells and normal thymocytes. The cytoplasmic portion of CD4 is associated with p56lck tyrosine kinase. CD4 expression is commonly found in human lymph nodes and tonsils. CD45 Leukocyte Common Antigen (LCA) belongs to the family of at least four isoforms of membrane glycoproteins (220, 205, 190, 180 kDa) expressed on hematopoietic cell lines but absent on non-hematopoietic cell lines, normal and malignant, non-hematopoietic tissues. The intracellular portion of these molecules have protein phosphatase activity and are involved in regulation of transmembrane signals. This antibody is a monoclonal mixture of FITC-conjugated CD4 (clone 7E14, isotype IgG1) and PE-conjugated CD45RA (clone BHKG-2, isotype IgG1).
