Description

CD44 is a glycoprotein and functions as an extracellular matrix adhesion molecule through its binding to hyaluronate. CD44 is expressed by hematopoietic and non-hematopoietic cells. Bone marrow myeloid cells and memory T cells express CD44 at high levels, and peripheral B and T cells can upregulate the expression of CD44 in response to certain stimulatory events.

701406 detects CD44/H-CAM in Human samples. 701406 has been successfully used in IF, ICC and FACS procedures. The immunogen for 701406 is peptide corresponding to amino acids 411-424 of human CD44.
