Description

PA1-40301 detects E-Selectin from human, chimpanzee, rhesus monkey, cynomolgous monkey and baboon samples. PA1-40301 reacts with the Lectin Domain of E-selectin, CD62-e, formerly designated Endothelial Leucocyte Adhesion Molecule-1 (ELAM-1). PA1-40301 reacts with human endothelial cells activated with TNF, IL-1 or endotoxin. PA1-40301 was found to react also with cells transfected with the ELAM-1 gene. The antibody inhibits the adhesion of granulocytes both neutrophilic and eosinophilic. PA1-40301 has been successfully used in ELISA, immunohistochemistry (frozen) and Western blot applications. It is recommended that users test the reagent and determin their own optimal dilutions: the typical starting working dilution is 1:10. The PA1-40301 imunogen is human E-Selectin.
