anti-Cdk7/ p40MO15/CAK Ab-1, Clone: MO-1.1, Epredia™ LabVision
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Supplier: Epredia MS219B0
Description
CDK7 is cdk activating kinase associated with the 34kDa cyclin H protein, and a 36kDa unnamed protein. CDK7/cyclin H is an integral part of the general transcription factor complex TFIIH; hence is important for activated transcription of polymerase II-dependent promoters and DNA repair. CDK7 is nuclear at all stages of the cell division cycle, except for mitosis indicating that its activity is required for key CDKs operating in distinct cell cycle phases.
Host Species: Mouse
Clone: MO-1.1
Isotype: IgG2b
Cross Reactivity: Human and Rat. Does not react with mouse. Others-not known.
Epitope: 221 amino acid fragment of C-terminus
Immunogen: A recombinant 221 amino acid fragment of the C-terminus human p40MO15 protein.
Molecular Weight: 40kDa
Positive Control: HT29 and LS174T cells
Cellular Localization: Nuclear and cytoplasmic
Ab-1 is well suited for multiple biochemical applications including immunoprecipitation of kinase activity
