p57 Kip2 Rabbit anti-Bovine, Human, Mouse, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA126615
PA1-26615 detects cyclin-dependent kinase inhibitor 1C (p57, Kip2) from human, mouse, and bovine samples. PA1-26615 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (paraffin) procedures. The PA1-26615 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to a portion of human CDKN1C.The protein encoded by this gene is a tight-binding, strong inhibitor of several G1 cyclin/Cdk complexes and a negative regulator of cell proliferation. Mutations in this gene are implicated in sporadic cancers and Beckwith-Wiedemann syndorome, suggesting that this gene is a tumor suppressor candidate. Three transcript variants encoding two different isoforms have been found for this gene.
