Ceruloplasmin Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA529656
PA5-29657 targets CD55 in IF and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-29657 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 34 and 291 of Human CD55.The protein encoded by this gene is a metalloprotein that binds most of the copper in plasma and is involved in the peroxidation of Fe(II)transferrin to Fe(III) transferrin. Mutations in this gene cause aceruloplasminemia, which results in iron accumulation and tissue damage, and is associated with diabetes and neurologic abnormalities.
