Calcitonin is a peptide hormone synthesized by the parafollicular cells of the thyroid. CGRP is one of the most abundant peptides produced in both peripheral and central neurons. It is a potent peptide vasodilator and can function in the transmission of pain.Reconstitute with 50-100 ul of distilled water, and dilute further in 0.1M PBS with 1% BSA and 0.1% sodium azide.
