PA1-7209 detects chlamydia trachomatis. This antibody does not react with C. psittacii or C. pneumoniae in MIF. PA1-7209 has been successfully used in immunofluorescence procedures. Potential applications for this product are numerous including ELISA, fluorescence microscopy, immunoblotting and immunohistochemistry. The PA1-7209 immunogen is purified MOMP from strain L2.
