PA1-24401 detects CHX10 in Human samples. PA1-24401 has been successfully used in Western Blot procedures. PA1-24401 immunogen corresponds to Polyclonal antibody from rabbits immunized with a synthetic peptide region of human CHX10. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Human CHX10 is expressed in progenitor cells of the developing neuroretina and in the inner nuclear layer of the mature retina. The strong conservation in vertebrates of the CHX10 sequence, pattern of expression and loss-of-function phenotypes demonstrates the evolutionary importance of the genetic network through which this gene regulates eye development.
