Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific PA137498
Description
Corticotropin Releasing Factor (CRF), a 41 amino acids neuropeptide, belongs to a family of structurally related peptides including urocortin, sauvagine and urotensin I. CRF is critical in the regulation of the pituitary-adrenal gland axis, and in endocrine, autonomic and behavioral responses to stress. CRF is widely distributed in the brain and peripheral nervous system with the highest levels in the hypothalamic paraventricular nucleus.
This antibody is predicted to react with chicken, canine, amphibian, mouse, porcine and rat based on sequence homology.Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is brain or placenta tissue.
