Denatured Ovalbumin Mouse anti-Chicken, Clone: 6C8, Invitrogen
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen HYB0940602
Description
HYB 094-06-02 HYB 094-06 is specific for denatured chicken ovalbumin (OA). Cross-reactivity to egg albumines from other species has not been tested. HYB 094-06-02 has been successfully used in ELISA and Western blotting procedures. HYB 094-06-02 reacts strongly with OA in denatured and modified forms (native OA surface-adsorbed, heat-denatured or reduced). Strong reaction is seen in ELISA with OA directly coated onto the microtiter well. In dotblotting, HYB 094-06 reacts with both native and denatured OA adsorbed onto nitrocellulose. In Western blotting after SDS-PAGE, HYB 094-06-02 reacts with OA in reduced as well as unreduced forms. The HYB 094-06-02 immunogen is OA isolated from chicken egg white, heat-denatured. Epitope specificity differs from that of HYB 094-05-02 and HYB 094-07-02, as determined by inhibition ELISA. NOTE: Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85-1.15 mg/mL
Ovalbumin (OA), is isolated from chicken egg white in which it makes up about 60% of solids. Native ovalbumin is a globular monomer of molecular mass ~45 kDa.Specifications
