Dicer is an RNase III-like enzyme which cleaves double-stranded RNA into 21-23 nt RNAs. These RNAs are referred to as siRNA (short interfering RNA). It is believed to be essential in siRNA-mediated gene suppression.PA1-29791 detects Dicer from mouse samples.PA1-29791 has been successfully used in Western blot applications.The PA1-29791 immunogen is: Synthetic peptide (Mouse), corresponding to amino acids FTKHQVLIMTCYVALTVLK (132-150) and QNKQILVPELCAIHPI (1017 -1033).
