EDC3 Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA522395
PA5-22395 targets Edc3 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-22395 immunogen is a recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 127 and 376 of Edc3 (Uniprot IDNo.Q96F86). Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles. This gene encodes a protein that is important in mRNA degradation. The encoded protein is a component of a decapping complex that promotes efficient removal of the monomethylguanosine (m7G) cap from mRNAs, as part of the 5 ft. to 3 ft. mRNA decay pathway. Mutations in this gene have been identified in human patients with an autosomal recessive form of intellectual disability.
