Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA523312
DescriptioneIF3J is an RNA-associated protein belonging to the eukaryotic translation initiation factor family. It belongs to the group of proteins involved in protein translation/synthesis where it binds to the 40S ribosomal subunit and promotes the binding of methionyl-tRNAi and mRNA to form the 40S initiation complex. eIF3J is a component of the eIF3 multiprotein complex, composed of at least 13 different subunits. It is also known to interact with eIF3S12. Ubiquitous expression is seen in most tissues.
