ESRRB Rabbit anti-Mouse, Rat, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA1315
PA1-315 detects ERR2 from mouse and rat kidney extracts. PA1-315 has been successfully used in Western blot and immunofluorescence procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ~48 kDa protein representing ERR2 from rat kidney extract. The PA1-315 immunogen is a synthetic peptide corresponding to residues D(376) Y E L S Q R H E E P R R(388) of mouse ERR2. This peptide (Cat. No. PEP-251) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.Estrogen-related receptor 2 (ERR beta, ERR2) is an orphan member of the nuclear hormone receptor superfamily. All the ERR family members share an almost identical DNA-binding domain, which has 68% amino acid identity with that of estrogen receptor. It has been shown the ERR2 plays a critical functional role in placental development. The corresponding gene for the ERR2 is NR3B2.
