FNBP1 Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Rat, Polyclonal, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Supplier: Thermo Scientific PA523250
Description
FNBP1 is a regulatory protein belonging to the formin-binding-protein family. It has a FCH domain, a coiled-coil domain, a Rho family protein-binding domain (RBD), and a SH3 domain. FNBP1 interacts with sorting nexin 2 (SNX2), tankyrase (TNKS), and dynamin and is an important regulator of endocytosis. It self associates and binds to lipids to promote membrane invagination and the formation of tubules. It acts as a link between RND2 signaling and regulation of the actin cytoskeleton. FNBP1 induces neurite branching in response to ARHN. The MLL-FNBP1 fusion protein with MLL has very low transforming ability. FNBP1 is associated with acute myelogemous leukemia. FNBP1 is very highly expressed in epithelial cells, brown adipose tissue, cardiomyocytes, enteric ganglia and glucagon-producing cells of the pancreas, germ cells of the testis and brain.
