FSHR Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA123545
PA1-23545 detects FSH Receptor in human samples. PA1-23545 has been successfully used in immunohistochemistry (paraffin) procedures. The PA1-23545 immunogen is a synthetic peptide, KLH conjugated, corresponding to the N-terminal extracellular domain of human FSH receptor. Store at 4°C short term. For extended storage aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.FSHR, a Glycoprotein Hormone Receptor, is required for normal ovarian development and follicle maturation in females. When activated, it stimulates ovarian follicular growth and production of estrogens, initiating a normal menstrual cycle. In males, FSHR is required for the initiation of spermatogenesis and normal sperm production. Two isoforms are produced by alternative splicing. FSHR expression has been reported in ovary, uterus, and testis. ESTs have been isolated from testis libraries.
