PA1-20496 detects G Protein-Coupled Receptor MRGX1 in Human samples. PA1-20496 has been successfully used in Immunocytochemistry, Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin) and Western Blot procedures. PA1-20496 immunogen corresponds to Synthetic peptide (aa sequence is considered to be commercially sensitive). Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

MRGX1 is an opiod receptor that has been reported exclusively in dorsal root ganglion. ESTs for MRGX1 have been identified in a human brain (hypothalamus) library and in a human cancer library.
