gamma Catenin Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA137257
This antibody is predicted to react with mouse and rat based on sequence homology. Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 10 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is breast carcinoma. The catenins (@alpha;, β, γ, and δ) are ubiquitously expressed, cytoplasmic proteins that associate with E-cadherin at cellular junctions. α-catenin can also bind P-cadherin and N-cadherin. γ-catenin, also known aas plakoglobin, is an 82kDa protein that binds with a-catenin and N-cadherin.
