PA5-28307 targets GBP1 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-28307 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 149 and 473 of Human GBP1. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

Guanylate binding protein expression is induced by interferon. Guanylate binding proteins are characterized by their ability to specifically bind guanine nucleotides (GMP, GDP, and GTP) and are distinguished from the GTP-binding proteins by the presence of 2 binding motifs rather than 3.
