GLP1R Mouse anti-Human, Biotin, Clone: 8G9, Invitrogen
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen HYB14706B005
Description
HYB 147-06B-005 detects the amidated C-terminus of Glucogon-like peptide-1 from human samples. This antibody does not detect GLP-1 (7-37). HYB 147-06B-005 has been successfully used in ELISA procedures. Reacts with the amidated C-terminus of GLP-1 (7-36) amide and GLP-1 (1-36) amide. HYB 147-06B-005 can be used as capture antibody in an sandwich ELISA using HYB 147-12B-005 as detection antibody. HYB 147-06B-005 immunogen is glucagon-like peptide-1 (7-36) amide. The epitope of HYB 147-06B-005 is the C-terminal of GLP-1. NOTE: Concentration is lot-dependent and can vary from 0.85-1.15 mg/mL
Glucagon-like peptide 1(7-36)amide is the principal active form of GLP-1, the other being GLP-1(7-37). GLP-1 is a peptide hormone of the glucagon family, produced by the L cells of the intestinal mucosa from the same prohormone as glucagon. The active forms are potent stimulators of glucose-dependent insulin secretion. The sequence of GLP-1 is fully conserved in all mammalian species examined so far.Specifications
