Description

GM-CSF (granulocyte-macrophage colony-stimulating factor) is a 14.6kDa haematopoietic growth factor which exists in both glycosylated and non-glycosylated biologically active forms, and stimulates the development of granulocytes, macrophages, early megakaryocytes and eosinophil progenitor cells. The ability of recombinant GM-CSF to increase haematopoietic cell recovery has become a focus area in the therapeutic treatment of patients following bone marrow transplantation.

Reconstitute with 0.5 ml PBS containing 0.1% BSA. For long term storage the addition of 0.09% sodium azide is recommended. PA1-84988 has a IgG concentration of ~0.1 mg/ml after reconstitution. Prior to reconstitution, store at 4ºC. After reconstitution, store undiluted at -20ºC, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.This antibody may be used in a direct ELISA or as the detection reagent in a sandwich ELISA with PA1-84972 as the capture antibody.
