HYAL1 Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA527901
PA5-27901 targets HYAL1 in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-27901 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 3 and 374 of Human HYAL1. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles. This gene encodes a lysosomal hyaluronidase. Hyaluronidases intracellularly degrade hyaluro, one of the major glycosaminoglycans of the extracellular matrix. Hyaluro is thought to be involved in cell proliferation, migration and differentiation. This enzyme is active at an acidic pH and is the major hyaluronidase in plasma. Mutations in this gene are associated with mucopolysaccharidosis type IX, or hyaluronidase deficiency. The gene is one of several related genes in a region of chromosome 3p21.3 associated with tumor suppression. Multiple transcript variants encoding different isoforms have been found for this gene.
