Description

PA1-644 detects kinesin 5C from human samples. This antibody is specific for kinesin 5C and does not detect other kinesin isotypes. No cross-reactivity is observed using bovine or mouse samples. PA1-644 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot, this antibody detects an ∽110 kDa protein representing kinesin 5C from human retinal extract. An unidentified band is also detected at ∽100 kDa. The PA1-644 immunizing peptide corresponds to amino acid residues 938-957 from human kinesin 5C. This peptide (Cat. # PEP-199) is available for use in neutralization and control experiments.
