KLRG1 Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA521696
PA5-21696 targets KLRG1 in WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-21696 immunogen is a recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 1 and 195 of KLRG1 (Uniprot IDNo.Q96E93). Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.KLRG1 (Killer cell lectin-like receptor G1, MAFA, 2F1-Ag) is a homodimeric member of the lectin-like type 2 transmembrane receptor family whose members contain characteristic immunoreceptor tyrosine-based inhibitory motifs (ITIMs) in their cytoplasmic domains. These ITIMs interact with the SH2 domains of protein phosphatases such as SHP-1. KLRG1 is an inhibitory receptor that is expressed on natural killer (NK) cells and certain T cells. NK cells are involved in the lysis of tumor cells and virus-infected cells, and mediate humoral and cell-mediated immune responses.
