Lipid A LPS Goat anti-Bacteria, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA173178
PA1-73178 is crossreactive with numerous members of the Enterobacteriaciae. PA1-73178 has been successfully used in immunofluorescence, immunocytochemistry, western blot, immunohistochemistry and ELISA applications. The PA1-73178 antibody was raised against purified Lipid A Lipopolysaccharide. Store at 2-8°C up to 6 months. For long term storage, aliquot and store at -20°C, avoiding freeze/thaw cycles.LPS is chemically composed of a lipid part, which is responsible for the endotoxic activities of LPS, and a heteropolysaccharide which generally consists of an oligosaccharide, termed the core region, and, in some bacterial families, of the so-called O chain, composed of repeating oligosaccharide units. Lipid A is the glucosamine-based phospholipid which forms part of the bacterial outer membrane and anchors LPS to the surface of the bacteria.
