DescriptionActin Monoclonal antibody specifically detects Actin in Rat samples. It is validated for Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry, Immunohistochemistry-Frozen.
Western Blot, Immunohistochemistry 1:10-1:500, Immunohistochemistry-Frozen 1:10-1:500
The antibody reacts with the Actin antigen.
Tissue culture supernatant
Store at 4C short term. Aliquot and store at -20C long term. Avoid freeze-thaw cycles.
In addition to the intermediate filaments, the cytoskeleton contains contractile micro filaments. These proteins occur in most cell types, but more abundantly in muscle cells and myoepithelial cells. There are three types of contractile proteins: actin, myosin and tubuli. This antibody reacts in immunoblots with one single protein band which is corre?sponding to actin. Antigen origin: cell preparation of chicken skeletal muscle. Antigen location: cytoplasm.
Immunohistochemistry, Immunohistochemistry (Frozen), Western Blot
Tissue culture supernatant with 0.1% Sodium Azide
ACTA, actin, alpha 1, skeletal muscle, alpha skeletal muscle, alpha skeletal muscle actin, alpha-actin-1, ASMA, CFTD, CFTDM, MPFD, NEM1, NEM2, NEM3
