MPS1, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Goat Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA131888
This gene encodes an enzyme that hydrolyzes the terminal alpha-L-iduronic acid residues of two glycosaminoglycans, dermatan sulfate and heparan sulfate. This hydrolysis is required for the lysosomal degradation of these glycosaminoglycans. Mutations in this gene that result in enzymatic deficiency lead to the autosomal recessive disease mucopolysaccharidosis type I (MPS I).PA1-31888 detects MPS1 from human samples.PA1-31888 has been successfully used in Western blot applications. The PA1-31888 immunogen is: Synthetic peptide: PLAKDLLHPSPEE from N Terminus of the protein sequence according to NP_001021.
