PA1-31126 detects PDE1C from human, mouse, and rat samples. PA1-31126 has been successfully used in immunoprecipitation, Immunocytochemistry, and Western blot applications. Detects multiple bands in the 70-87 kDa range. The PA1-31126 immunogen is a synthetic peptide (N terminal). Store at 4°C short term. For extended storage aliquot and store at -20°C or below. Avoid freeze/thaw cycles.

Cyclic nucleotide phosphodiesterases (PDEs) catalyze hydrolysis of the cyclic nucleotides cAMP and cGMP to the corresponding nucleoside 5-prime-monophosphates. Mammalian PDEs have been classified into several families based on their biochemical properties. Members of the PDE1 family, such as PDE1C, are calmodulin (see MIM 114180)-dependent PDEs (CaM-PDEs) that are stimulated by a calcium-calmodulin complex (Repaske et al., 1992 [PubMed 1326532]).
