PKP1 Mouse anti-Human, Clone: 10B2, Invitrogen™
Mouse Monoclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen MA12004
Plakophilin-1 Antibody (10B2), MA1-2004, from Invitrogen. Species Reactivity: Human; Applications: Western Blot. This gene encodes a member of the arm-repeat (armadillo) and plakophilin gene families. Plakophilin proteins contain numerous armadillo repeats, localize to cell desmosomes and nuclei, and participate in linking cadherins to intermediate filaments in the cytoskeleton. This protein may be involved in molecular recruitment and stabilization during desmosome formation. Mutations in this gene have been associated with the ectodermal dysplasia/skin fragility syndrome.
Host Species: Mouse
Cross Reactivity: Human
Immunogen: The N-terminal region of human plakophilin-1.
Formulation: 200μg purified antibody (1mg/mL) in PBS with 1mg/mL BSA and 0.05% sodium azide

MA1-2004 contains 200 ug of in vitro produced, protein A purified antibody (1 mg/ml) in PBS containing 1 mg/ml BSA and 0.05% sodium azide. MA1-2004 detects plakophilin-1from human samples. MA1-2004 has been successfully used in Western blot applications. By Western blot, MA1-2004 detects a ∽70 kDa band representing plakophilin-1 from MCF-7 cells. The MA1-2004 immunogen is the N-terminal region of human plakophilin-1.
