RDH11 Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA14231
PA1-4231 detects the PSDR1 protein in human samples. PA1- 4231 has been successfully used in Western blot procedures. By Western blot this antibody detects a ~28 kDa protein representing PSDR1 in androgen-stimulated metastatic adenocarcinoma LNCaP.FGC cells. PA1- 4231 immunogen is a mixture of synthetic peptides corresponding to the N- and C-terminal residues M(1) V E L M F P(7) and L(312) L G L P I D(318) of human PSDR1.PSDR1 is a novel prostate short-chain dehydrogenase/reductase that exhibits increased expression on exposure to androgens in the LNCaP prostate cancer cell line. PSDR1 is expressed in normal and neoplastic prostate epithelium and is implicated in the pathogenesis of prostate carcinoma.
