PA5-21275 targets Rad9 in IF, IHC-P and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human, mouse and rat samples. The PA5-21275 immunogen is a recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 197 and 391 of Rad9. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles.

RAD9 is a component of the 9-1-1 cell cycle checkpoint response complex that plays a major role in DNA repair. The 9-1-1 complex is recruited to DNA lesions upon damage by the RAD17-replication factor C clamp loader complex. RAD9 acts as a sliding clamp platform on DNA for several proteins involved in long-patch base excision repair.
