RCAN1 Rabbit anti-Human, Mouse, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA523027
In Western blot, a band is seen at ~38 kDa, representing isoform RCAN1-1L.The RCAN1 protein interacts with calcineurin A and inhibits calcineurin-dependent signaling pathways, possibly affecting central nervous system development. This gene is located in the minimal candidate region for the Down syndrome phenotype, and is overexpressed in the brain of Down syndrome fetuses. This antibody is specific for Isoform RCAN1-1L, which is overexpressed in Alzheimer ft.s Disease (Harris, C.D. et al) and is downregulated in Huntington ft.s Disease (Ermak, G. et al).
Synthetic peptide made to an internal portion of the human protein (within residues 40-90).
Antigen affinity chromatography
Immunohistochemistry (Paraffin), Western Blot
PBS with 30% glycerol and 0.1% sodium azide
