STS Rabbit anti-Human, Polyclonal, Invitrogen
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA528259
PA5-28259 targets Steryl-sulfatase in IHC (P) and WB applications and shows reactivity with Human samples. The PA5-28259 immunogen is recombit fragment corresponding to a region within amino acids 96 and 547 of Human Steryl-sulfatase. Store product as a concentrated solution. Centrifuge briefly prior to opening the vial. For short-term storage (1-2 weeks), product can be stored at 4°C. For long-term storage, aliquot and store product at -20° C or below, avioiding multiple freeze-thaw cycles. The protein encoded by this gene catalyzes the conversion of sulfated steroid precursors to estrogens during pregcy. The encoded protein is found in the endoplasmic reticulum, where it acts as a homodimer. Mutations in this gene are known to cause X-linked ichthyosis (XLI).
