In direct ELISAs, 100% cross-reactivity with recombit human (rh) SULT1A3 and rhSULT1C4 and approximately 10% cross-reactivity with rhSULT1B1 is observed. No cross-reactivity with rhSULT1E1, 2A1, 2B1, or 4A1 is observed. Reconstitute in sterile PBS to a final concentration of 0.5 mg/mL.Sulfotransferase enzymes catalyze the sulfate conjugation of many hormones, neurotransmitters, drugs, and xenobiotic compounds. These cytosolic enzymes are different in their tissue distributions and substrate specificities. The gene structure (number and length of exons) is similar among family members. This gene encodes one of two phenol sulfotransferases with thermostable enzyme activity. Multiple alternatively spliced variants that encode two isoforms have been identified for this gene.
