TGFBR1 Rabbit anti-Bovine, Human, Mouse, Rat, Polyclonal, Invitrogen™
Rabbit Polyclonal Antibody
Manufacturer: Invitrogen PA138737
Heat-mediated antigen retrieval is recommended prior to staining, using a 10mM citrate buffer, pH 6.0, for 10 minutes followed by cooling at room temperature for 20 min. Following antigen retrieval, incubate samples with primary antibody for 30 min at room temperature. A suggested positive control is placenta tissue.A total of three members of the TGF beta family, TGFbeta1, TGFbeta2 and TGFbeta3, have been identified in mammals. Each is synthesized as a latent precursor that is subsequently cleaved forming the 112 amino acid growth factor which becomes active upon dimerization. TGFbetas mediate their activity by high affinity binding to the type II receptor 70kDa transmembrane protein with a cytoplasmic serine-threonine kinase domain.
